Design: I want to do it, wear it, for it to surround me. Technology: The impossible can happen. Interactive: I don't think about computers, but about interaction of people with people, or people with things. New: There's nothing really new. All the ideas are already out there. It's up to you to uncover them. Freedom: Means harmony, respect for others and for the environment. Constraint: Reality.
Back Story
With her collaborative style, Wendy approaches projects with the idea that by understanding how people think, feel and interact, design can present highly functional solutions. Wendy produces visionary concepts that are aesthetically compelling, practical and on brand. She has 15+ years of interactive experience, usability expertise, and design leadership in the US plus 4 in Argentina. A former Creative Director at marchFIRST, Wendy has led projects for Behr, Toyota, Toshiba and others.
Obsessions
Favorites: My husband and kids, my camera, cool hats, smart humor. Books: Blink, Cien Anos de Soledad, The Places in Between. Movies: Amelie, Pulp Fiction, Blade Runner. Hobbies: Reading in my native Spanish, Iyengar Yoga, Animal Crossing, Practices: Constructivism and non-violent communication. Foods: Mom's gnocchi, sushi, Thai curry. Travels: London, Morocco, Tahiti. Favorite quote: "On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux."
