PORTFOLIO : Orthopaedic Hospital
Challenge
Create a new online presence to present the hospital as a world leader in care and research, a charitable institution deeply committed to the wellbeing of Los Angeles, and a place of great hope and enthusiasm for the future. And make this powerful story relevant to the hospital's diverse constituency of patients, donors, caregivers, volunteers, researchers and orthopedic specialists.
Process
- Contextual inquiry with leadership, volunteers, patients, researchers and doctors;
- Information architecture supporting their internal skills and their PR firm's services;
- Visual design and direction of photography, both from their archives and from new shoots;
- Site production and development of content management tools for keeping the site current.
Result
A new site that addresses each of its audiences appropriately, offers quick access to key information in English and Spanish, and is fully compliant with Section 508 accessibility standards.
